Alice held her head in her hands, listening to the 'announcement'. She sighed thinking,'seven days? And there were other groups? Wonder what happened to them... She quickly shook her head and tried to get her mind off the thought. She looked up and saw other people getting up and looked to her right when she heard the sound of a door opening. It was a boy that was a few feet away opening the door. She got up and walked over. "H-hey, do you know whats happening?" she asked even though she knew he probably didn't.

Alice listened to the guy in front of her. Like she thought, he knew nothing about what was going on. She let out a deep sigh and watched as his eyes looked over her head to the other people in the room. She to looked, and saw 7 others. She thought back to the announcement. They had to have at least one person stay up, so they were going to have to trust each other to do that. She shivered as the cold hit her. At least she was wearing a long sleeve and pants, unlike the guy in front of her. She wondered what his name was.

"Well sense were suck here we might as well try to survive this together, and there's only one way to do that." she walked over toward the door that the guy had opened to see a bathroom. She let out another sigh before turning back and holding out her hand, "I'm Alice, whats your name?"

Alice looked over at the food and water that was descending before in stopped. She saw that no one was going to go up to it so trying to be brave she proceeded to walk toward the tray. She remembered what they said about not keeping anything and made a note of it.

Finally she came to a stop and stood in front of the food and water. She reached out touching the bread. When nothing jumped out at her she grabbed it, holding it in her hands. "I think its safe." She called out in a shaky voice to the others, looking back at them.

Alice looked over at the guy who had the idea. "I like it, I already ate so i'll be the second group to eat." She placed the bread back on the tray for the others. Before she could help it she thought back to right before she was kidnapped. She had just ate dinner and was going for her nightly walk. Now that she though about it, she really shouldn't of gone without her dog. Shaking her head she turned back and walked over to the guy and smiled. Holding out her hand she said "I'm Alice, and you are...?" She was curious about the fella, he didn't look like the type to want to join a group of strangers but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

Alice nodded at Mikael before putting her hand down. She had many people reject her handshake before, it wasn't uncommon. She turned toward Peter as she heard that he too would wait until the second time the tray came to eat.

As she looked around again she heard the words spoke from a girl to her right and grabbed a piece of the bread and walked over to her, holding it out. "Here, I grabbed a piece for you. There's also water over on the tray, would you like me to grab it for you and grab a piece of bread for you?" Alice asked looking at both the girls. She could see that the girl holding on to the wall hadn't eaten anything from her pale face. She glanced over at the other girl next to her, having a serious face on and waiting for their answers.

Alice smiled at the girl before going back over to the tray and grabbing the water. She held out the water for the girl saying, "I'm Alice, what's your name?"

"That's a pretty name" Alice said, taking the water back. "I'll be right back" She said, taking a step back and walking toward the tray. She threw the water back on it and sighed. All the walking back and forth had made her tired. As she walked back over to meredith she started to think.

How long were they going to be stuck in this room. Until the experiment was over? Or maybe until they died? No they wouldn't don't do that, would they? So many questions to be answered and no one to answer them. Lost In thought she stopped next to meredith and leaned on the wall, staring into space.

Alice shook her head as she saw Merediths hand go in front of her face. "Oh yeah, I'm fine just thinking." She said quickly. She listened to one of the girls that looked like her age tall about the sleeping schedule. She had to agree with Mikael on his idea, she just wondered who would be the ones to stay up the first time. She licked her lips before sitting down with her back on the wall, looking at everyone.

"Sorry to say that I can't be in the group to stay awake, I'm just so tired..." She said looking at the ground. She felt like should of tried to at least stay up but she knew that she would fall right asleep. She didn't want to risk the life's of the others just because she thought she wasn't kind enough. She let out a sigh before lifting her head up again.

"So how are we even going to sleep? It's to cold to sleep alone in a corner, we would freeze, so should we huddle up?" She asked.

Emerald always had fiery temper and can never seem to control it, witch was why she spent most of her childhood in the corner. She has a comeback for almost everything to be said and isn't afraid to say it. She comes off as one who doesn't care about anything but when you know her, you know that she cares about everything maybe a little to much. She thinks things through and takes Murphy's Law extremely serious. Emerald is open-minded about almost everything and loves to go on an adventure ever now and then. Like they say, curiosity killed the cat, and oh does it kill Emerald. She loves sneaking around when she can and learning all, even if all means that Jesse cheated on her boyfriend. Basically shes a very lovey, short-tempered, adventurous, know-it-all without glasses.

Well to start with I guess you could say she's adventures. Always looking for something to do which sometimes means sneaking into the library after hours to look at magic books. She loves to read anything she can get her hands on so I guess you could call her a book worm, though she mostly reads old spell books. Shes very loyal and trusts pretty easily. She likes to think that everyone is her friend til proven otherwise. Shes usually very observant but if you catch her reading something interesting or doing something interesting, she probably wont notice you. Shes very caring and will help almost anyone in need if you really need it, just watch out cause shes bipolar and you don't want to be in her way when shes mad.
HISTORY
She lived in a little village with her father most of her life. Her mother had died giving birth to her and had left her father to raise her. On one of this nights out drinking little Annora found one of her mothers diary that told her that her mother was a Mage. She found some of her old spell books and started practicing, and what do you know, they worked. Her father found out (mind you he didn't know his wife was a Mage) and kicked her out of the house when she was only 14. She traveled all over meeting other creatures that didn't like her because of her magic, mind you it was one of the things that could kill them so they kind of had a point to try and kill her. She almost died many times but then she found the academy.
